Rachel Parrish Teacher
 
Rachel Parrish was born and raised in England. She received a diploma in Math Education at Manchester University, England and then a Bachelors in Art Education at BYU. She has taught in the public school system until coming to Telos. She and her husband have four children. When not teaching Rachel loves to paint and hike. She loves the outdoors. Rachel teaches art and art therapy, where therapeutic issues are explored through visual media. Whether an accomplished artist or a beginner, students are welcomed into her art room and taught the basic art skills necessary to express their thoughts in a visual manner. Sculpture, drawing, painting, film, photography, music and other mixed media are explored as students are encouraged in a safe environment to enjoy the relaxing and therapeutic nature of art.
