Described by many of the students as “the Dad of Telos”, Larry is a former project manager and team leader in the aviation and construction industries with nearly 30 years of pertinent life and career experience blended with learning regarding marriage, the family system, and teen growth and development. As a volunteer leader and counselor Larry has worked with youth and their families for over 15 years to strengthen relationships, improve communications, and overcome problems such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse and addiction. As a Couple Communications Instructor and family life educator, Larry continues to provide training and instruction to couples, families, and youth. Larry has a strong desire to help others succeed at life’s challenges, and is committed to helping each boy at Telos achieve his own ultimate potential. Larry and his wife Holly celebrated their 27th anniversary this year and have seven children, three of whom will be married this summer. His personal interests primarily involve his family, and include camping and hiking, hunting and fishing, motorcycling, flying, and church service.
