Family
Your family is a puzzle, with each member a unique, interlocking piece. The piece representing your son will be taken out of the puzzle and sent to Telos to “change his shape”. If the family puzzle remains the same while he is in treatment, what will happen once he returns home? Throughout treatment you will be challenged to grow and change along with your son. Even simple family changes can “open up space” for your son to maintain positive changes once he returns home. The caring professionals at Telos will help your family through weekly family therapy sessions and attendance at “Family Days” (about every ten weeks). During Family Days you will join the other Telos parents for a 3-day conference including multi-family groups, family recreation therapy, art therapy, psycho-education groups, parenting classes, talent shows, and more. Family Days are designed to help the entire family reach its ultimate potential.
