Cameron comes to Telos with an extensive background in residential treatment and youth service.  He specializes in helping young men overcome depression, anxiety, oppositional-defiance, and other behavioral health issues.  Cameron believes that a therapeutic alliance of trust is at the base of all healing.  He ascribes to the beliefs promoted in the book Leadership and Self-Deception--that seeing and validating a student’s humanity invites him to step toward a higher level of functioning.  Cameron was the fourth employee ever hired at Telos.  After working several years as a residential supervisor, he went back to school for his advanced clinical training.  As one of the original developers of the Telos milieu, he has a unique perspective in working with the student’s as a primary therapist.  Outside of Telos Cameron spends his time drumming, playing the guitar, and enjoying his wife and three children.
